Strawberry Tiramisu (Tiramisu me fraoules)

A lovely springtime dessert, with fresh (home-grown) strawberries and home-made lemon curd and mascarpone…

1 pkg ladyfingers

8 T orange (or other) liqueur

150 ml orange juice

300 g mascarpone

200 g lemon curd

500 g strawberries, sliced

2 T cocoa powder

100 g dark chocolate, grated

Use a square or rectangular glass dish that fits about 6 ladyfingers next to each other. Mix together the orange juice and liqueur in a wide bowl. Mix together the mascarpone and lemon curd.

Dip 6 ladyfingers in the juice mixture and place them, sugar side down, in the glass dish. Spread ½ the mascarpone mixture on top and then arrange ½ the strawberries over that. Repeat these layers once more. Allow the tiramisu to firm up in the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight.

Just before serving, sprinkle the cocoa powder and grated chocolate over the top.

If you prefer not to use alcohol, you can use more orange juice only.
